Spring brings with it a renewed energy and hope to a world that is giving birth once again. The Wood element is a season of transition that spans from the Spring Equinox on March 20 to the Summer Solstice on June 21. Spring is often a time for renewal where we Spring Clean our homes, offices, digital lives and jump start new projects of creativity and passion.

- Diet should nourish the Liver and help it to dispel and disperse stagnation.
- Dark leafy greens, sprouts, celery, spinach, and
- Green tea to cleanse the Liver and the blood and relieve stagnation.
- Lemon juice to clear the Liver.
- Flax seed, sunflower seeds to nourish the Liver.
- Light meats, legumes, whole grains and fruits.
- Movement!! Nothing will move your stagnation like exercise.
- Regulate sleep, with a goal of being asleep before the Wood hours begin at 11p.m.
- No late night eating or overeating.
