Step 1 – Exam: A specific 45 min. Aquapuncture Nutrition Exam and on-boarding is required and is self booked (link), to confirm you are good candidate for these therapies. Upon booking, you will prepay the cost of the office visit of $150. Boosters will be discussed and prescribed during consultation. Please be as hydrated as possible 24 hours prior to this exam, as your veins will be inspected.
If you are an existing Functional Medicine patient of our office, you will not not require a new exam.
Step 2 – Labs: If approved by Dr. Skip, O.M.D., you will be sent to LabCorp for specific values required to ensure your constitution can safely handle Aquapuncture administration. These labs vary in cost, based on need, but are typically ~$150. Based on your lab results, Dr. Skip will evaluate what therapies may safely be administered. A follow-up visit is not required and there is no charge to review when ordered by our office. Our office will contact you once cleared so that you may book your Aquapuncture treatment. If you bring labs from another provider, a $50 fee will be assessed for their review.
If you are an existing Functional Medicine patient of our office, you may not require additional labs. Please contact our office for details.
Step 3 – Treatment: Once cleared, you will be able to schedule Aquapuncture Therapies by texting or calling our office at (304) 634-9700 ext 5. Treatment administration may take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes with a hard-stop. Due to the exclusive nature of these therapies and the high-quality ingredient sourcing, we may require a booking notice of 10 business days, based on availability. Please note that Aquapuncture appointments will only be available on select days of the month with limited availability. Since Aquapuncture ingredients are highly perishable in nature, pre-payment is required in full and no refunds are given for cancellations or missed appointments.
Step 4 – Re-Evaluation: Lab rechecks are required at a minimum of every 12 months to confirm continued safe administration and are only required sooner if prior labs necessitate based on any anomalies.
