Acupuncture for First Responders & Their Families

Lt. Steve McCormick stated ‘that first responders are ten times more likely to commit suicide’ due to tremendous stress this community endures in service to our local community and we want to help. With that said, serving our first responders and families is the responsibility of all of us and that is why we offer ~30% discounts on our acupuncture and manual therapy services*. Our Huntington, West Virginia practice uses’ Acupuncture Medicine’ for issues ranging from PTSD, headaches, joint and muscle pain, depression, stress, anxiety, insomnia and more. When possible, we employ non-drug approaches at all costs. We do not use or prescribe ANY controlled substance from this office.

We specialize in modified Battlefield Ear Acupuncture via ASP needles that provide quick acting, extended cumulative symptom relief. Similar protocols are used by our Military Special Forces and the VA for a wide array of medical conditions, mainly in lieu of prescription pain medications. Clinically speaking 80% of patients experience substantive symptom relief within the first 30 minutes of treatment and another 10% within 24 hours. We would be honored to have you experience this first-hand.

Acupuncture therapy has been shown to be effective in treating veteran’s symptoms resulting from a wide range of conditions. The VA considers acupuncture effective for veterans who suffer from:

  • Pain associated with an injury or illness
  • Nausea and vomiting after an operation
  • Nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy
  • Knee pain from osteoarthritis
  • Low back pain
  • Depression or other mental health concerns
  • Substance dependency

*First-responders and their immediate family members are given the prepaid discounted rate at time of service.
