Worker’s Comp and Personal Injury Claims work different because it is not an assigned insurance benefit, but rather a policy enacts when there is an injury or claim, which is then often administered by insurance companies.

Details to include in your insurance verification:

There are a few additional details that will be needed when you submit that to us.

  • If Worker’s Compensation, provide the claim number as the policy number.
    • Please ensure you provide the Adjuster’s Name and Phone Number in the notes with your verification details.
  • If Traveler’s insurance, include the policy number (you may not have a claim number).

If all of the details are provided, it typically takes our billing department 24-72 hours to complete the verification and we will send you the coverage details once obtained.

What to expect with treatment?

The initial course of acupuncture and manual therapy is recommended to include 4-6 treatments.  With each treatment, functional improvement is recorded by the patient at sign-in, from one treatment to the next, and by the physician during each treatment session in the form of SOAP Notes.  These SOAP Notes can be provided electronically to the patient directly should they be needed by any third parties administering the claim.

What if I have an attorney managing my claim?

Should your claim be attorney represented, a lien of payment must be signed and provided to your attorney. This is to ensure our office is paid, once the litigation is settled.
